F.C. Internazionale Milano (commonly known as Inter Milan) is a football club based in Milan, Lombardy, Italy. It was founded on March 9, 1908. The team plays its home matches at San Siro Stadium (also known as Stadio Meazza) and currently competes in Serie A (the Italian top-flight football league).
Team History
Internazionale was established by a group of dissident members from the ""Milan Cricket and Football Club"" (i.e., AC Milan). From its inception, the club opened its doors to players from all over the world, hence the name ""Internazionale"" (meaning ""International"").

Nowadays
On June 7, 2016, Suning Sports acquired a 68.55% stake in the club. On May 22, 2024, a fund managed by Oaktree Capital became the owner of F.C. Internazionale Milano.
Internazionale was once one of the ""Seven Sisters of Serie A"" and, along with AC Milan and Juventus, is known as one of the ""Big Three of the North."" Matches between Internazionale and AC Milan (both based in Milan) are called the ""Milan Derby,"" while clashes with Juventus (from Turin) are known as the ""Derby d'Italia."" Internazionale is the only Italian football club to have won the Quintuple, consisting of the UEFA Champions League, Serie A, Coppa Italia, Supercoppa Italiana, and FIFA Club World Cup.
