Media updates have shed light on AC Milan’s transfer activities, including developments involving midfielder Yunus Musa, center-back Malick Thiaw, and forward targets Rasmus Højlund and Dušan Vlahović.
On Musa’s situation
Premier League side Nottingham Forest have maintained strong interest in Milan midfielder Yunus Musa and are currently evaluating a €30 million bid. If such an offer is submitted to Milan, the Rossoneri would let the USMNT midfielder leave.
Musa’s preference is to stay in Italy, with joining Napoli as his top choice, but he hasn’t ruled out accepting Forest’s offer for a new adventure in the Premier League. As previously noted, a deal could be struck soon.
On Thiaw’s future
Newcastle United have been tracking Malick Thiaw since the summer window opened and are still working on a new bid, which is likely to exceed €36 million. New contacts are expected in the next few hours.
Earlier reports stated that Newcastle’s initial offer for Thiaw was €30 million, but Milan rejected it and hoped to keep the center-back.
On forward targets: Højlund and Vlahović
As reported yesterday morning, AC Milan are exploring the possibility of signing Manchester United forward Rasmus Højlund, and United are open to a loan deal with an option to buy.
Juventus forward Dušan Vlahović is not currently on the Rossoneri’s radar, and due to salary issues, he is not a priority target for Milan at the moment.
