AC Milan is actively working on Rasmus Højlund's transfer, and an agreement with Manchester United is close to being finalized, but the player himself is still considering the move.
The report states that the focus of Milan's work next week will be negotiations regarding Højlund. The club clearly aims to sign a striker to partner with Raúl Jiménez. The latest development is that AC Milan and Manchester United have reached a draft agreement, involving a loan fee of €4 million with an optional buyout clause of €40 million.
Additionally, Milan will cover Højlund's annual after-tax salary of €3.8 million.
With the arrival of Benjamin Šeško, it has become less difficult for Manchester United to let Højlund leave. Milan has held frequent discussions with Manchester United since
last week, and the real key now lies in convincing Højlund himself. He currently prefers to stay at United and compete for playing time; although Milan is a willing destination for him, Højlund has not yet given a positive response to the transfer.
Next week is expected to be a decisive week. While waiting for Højlund's decision, Milan is also working to finalize the transfer of Atakame with Young Boys Bern, with the latter set to join imminently. Meanwhile, Nottingham Forest and Napoli are also pursuing Musa.
