Newcastle striker Alexander Isak is determined to leave this summer. The Swedish forward has even moved out of his residence in Newcastle, has no intention of returning to the club to play, and is doing everything he can to join Liverpool.
The day after Isak was previously excluded from Newcastle United’s player and family day event, the residence he had been living in northeast England was listed for rent.
The 25-year-old Isak was the only first-team player not permitted to attend the team-building day event held by Newcastle United at the club’s training base last week. The striker’s desire to leave is so strong that he has moved out of his home in Ponteland, and the landlord of the house is now looking for new tenants.
Isak has lived in the house for three years since moving to Newcastle from Real Sociedad for £63 million in 2022. The house was first listed for rent on July 24th – the same day the forward flew to Spain for individual training instead of traveling to Asia with Newcastle for the pre-season tour.
Isak is determined to leave Newcastle United this summer and join Liverpool. The Swedish striker aims to join the Premier League champions before the September 1st deadline.
Isak has been prioritizing a move to Liverpool this summer while waiting to see if they will make a second bid. He has made it clear that he will not change his stance unless Liverpool explicitly tells him a transfer is impossible. If Newcastle gives positive feedback in the next few days, Liverpool will make another bid. Since their £110 million bid was rejected in early August, Liverpool have not made another offer since then.
