Manchester United have seen Brentford reject two bids for Bryan Mbeumo, worth £55 million and £62.5 million respectively; Tottenham Hotspur are interested in the Cameroonian international, but Mbeumo only wants to move to Old Trafford.
Manchester United have submitted a third transfer bid for Brentford forward Bryan Mbeumo, valued at £65 million plus £5 million in add-on clauses.
Brentford are considering the offer and have not yet made a decision.
A new bid was expected after an offer worth £55 million plus £7.5 million in add-ons was rejected a few weeks ago.
Mbeumo has only wanted to join Manchester United for over a month, and it is understood that the club is encouraged by his determination to join United.
Earlier this week, the Cameroonian international returned to Brentford's pre-season training alongside another player with an uncertain future; Yoane Wissa.
Manchester United have been hoping to finalise a deal for Mbeumo in time to take him to the United States later this month.
He has been their main target this summer since signing Matheus Cunha, and they are still looking for a centre-forward.
