The winner of the 2025 Ballon d'Or was finally announced, with Paris Saint-Germain star Ousmane Dembélé taking home the award. Earlier, Argentine football icon Lionel Messi sent his congratulations to Dembélé.
After claiming the Ballon d'Or, Dembélé posted a message on social media, saying: “So much joy, pride, and emotion. A dream has come true. Thank you to everyone who has always supported me on this journey.”
Shortly after, Argentine superstar Lionel Messi commented on Dembélé’s post to offer his congratulations: "You’re amazing, Ousmane!!! Congratulations, I’m so happy for you. You deserve it all."
