Liverpool have rejected Bayern Munich's first-round offer of £58.6 million for striker Luis Díaz.
Earlier this month, Bayern expressed their desire to sign Díaz to Liverpool but were immediately told he was not for sale. This Tuesday, Liverpool officially turned down Bayern Munich's first offer.
Díaz's current contract with Liverpool expires in the summer of 2027. The club values him at over £87 million and regards him as a key player under Arne Slot. Last season, Díaz scored 22 goals for club and country, 13 of which came in the Premier League, helping Liverpool win the league title by a 10-point margin.
Aside from Bayern, Manchester City also expressed interest in Díaz last summer, while Saudi Arabian clubs are also keen to sign the winger.
Liverpool are currently actively looking for a centre-forward and have shown strong interest in Newcastle United striker Alexander Isak. The club has held substantive talks over Isak's transfer in recent days, while also evaluating the transfer terms and possibilities of other centre-forward candidates.
