German international Nick Woltemade stated in an interview with the media that Bayern players in the national team congratulated him on joining Newcastle.
Woltemade was once close to transferring to Bayern this summer but eventually joined Newcastle. Regarding this, Woltemade said: “When I came to the national team, everyone congratulated me, and Bayern players also sent their congratulations.”
"When they see a player taking a step forward, they will naturally offer congratulations. The same goes for my situation. There were no negative comments at all, especially considering that my situation is quite special."
