Benjamin Šeško has clearly stated his desire to join Manchester United.
The Red Devils have been vying with Premier League rivals Newcastle United for the Slovenian forward.
On Tuesday, Manchester United submitted an initial bid of £65.1 million, with additional add-on clauses worth £8.7 million.
Now, there is growing confidence within United that Šeško will choose them, and the deal can be completed if the two clubs can reach an agreement.
However, Leipzig are yet to respond to their offer, and the race for the forward continues.
Previously, Newcastle United made a club-record bid of £70 million plus add-on clauses. Newcastle United have put forward a higher offer, and their bid to Leipzig remains the more favorable of the two clubs. Newcastle’s first bid was rejected by the Bundesliga club, so they increased their offer.
Šeško has already agreed contract terms with both Newcastle United and Manchester United.
