Chelsea are stepping up efforts to sign Alejandro Garnacho from Manchester United and Xavi Simons from RB Leipzig, and could sell Nicolas Jackson as they continue to restructure their attacking lineup.
The club has already signed Liam Delap, Joao Pedro, and Jamie Bynoe-Gittens, and it is understood that signing Garnacho and Simons are their top priorities.
Garnacho has not yet featured in Manchester United's pre-season fixtures, with his reported transfer fee standing at around £50 million, but Chelsea appear unwilling to pay that amount.
After Ruben Amorim made it clear that the 21-year-old is not in his plans at Old Trafford, the Argentine forward is eager to move to Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea have not made an official approach yet but are likely to do so soon, as Manchester United are also looking to recoup funds as much as possible. Chelsea are in talks with Leipzig over Simons, and it is understood that Simons has agreed personal terms despite interest from Bayern Munich.
Meanwhile, Nicolas Jackson tends to stay at Chelsea despite the arrivals of Delap and Pedro having pushed down his starting place in the pecking order.
However, Chelsea are open to selling the Senegalese forward for the right price. Newcastle United could emerge as an option if they miss out on Benjamin Sesko as expected. AC Milan and other Italian clubs are also interested in Jackson, but Chelsea's valuation could be as high as £80 million.
