Madueke left Chelsea to join Arsenal this summer for a €56 million transfer fee. He integrated into the team quickly after the move and shared his feelings about the new club in an interview.
He said: “This is an amazing team and we’ve been performing well. The players here are not only talented but also really good people – I think the culture here might be the best I’ve ever seen.”
“As for the fans, there were some mixed voices on social media before I joined. But when I stepped onto the pitch, I didn’t feel any criticism. Besides, my position on the field is close to the stands, so I can hear them – they cheered me on throughout the game, and every time I touched the ball, I heard their applause. I hope this continues because it gives me a huge boost.”
