Real Madrid, Barcelona and Juventus have all shown interest in Crystal Palace centre-back Marc Guehi and intend to sign the England international on a free transfer next summer.
So far, no club has made official contact with Guehi himself. The player is currently focused on preparing with Crystal Palace for the second leg of the Europa Conference League play-offs. Notably, Guehi has rejected the new contract proposal offered by Crystal Palace and is in a very advantageous position in the negotiations, as his existing contract is set to expire in the summer of 2026.
In this summer's transfer window, the club most interested in Guehi has always been Premier League giant Liverpool. The Reds have long been interested in signing Guehi during this summer's transfer window and will take action again this week, hoping that Crystal Palace chairman Steve Parish will lower the asking price for the England international.
However, in any case, if Guehi still fails to renew his contract with Crystal Palace by next January, he will then have the right to hold free negotiations with clubs outside England and can sign a pre-contract. Besides Liverpool, which has been interested in him for a long time, top European clubs with strong strength such as Real Madrid, Barcelona and Juventus may all become his future options.
At this stage, Guehi is expected to continue staying at Crystal Palace. But the club is also actively looking for players to strengthen the centre-back position. Once Crystal Palace successfully signs a replacement and receives a suitable offer for Guehi, the possibility of him leaving early before the end of this season cannot be ruled out.
