After France’s 4-0 victory over Ukraine in the FIFA World Cup qualifier, defender Jules Koundé spoke to the media, stating that the first half of the match wasn’t easy.
Koundé commented: “We’re absolutely delighted. The game wasn’t easy, especially the first half. In the second half, we put in a much better performance, scored four goals and kept a clean sheet – we’re really satisfied with that.”
"Qualifying for the next World Cup? It’s something very special. I’ve dreamed of playing in this tournament since I was a kid. We shouldn’t take this achievement lightly, considering how fierce the competition is in other groups. We got the job done, so we’re over the moon."
