Chelsea's "Bomb Squad" Forced to Use Separate Changing Rooms & Toilets, Barred from Dining with First Team

BlueBridgeGlory

Due to Raheem Sterling’s failure to leave Chelsea during the summer transfer window, he has been left in a state of uncertainty regarding his football career, alongside Axel Disasi and David Datro Fofana.

These three are the remaining members of Chelsea’s current "Bomb Squad" – most of the group having left the club this summer. Previously, the squad also included players such as Lesley Ugochukwu, Carney Chukwuemeka, Vega, Armando Broja, Gilchrist, and Ben Chilwell.

The level of isolation faced by this Bomb Squad is shocking: they are forced to use separate toilets and changing rooms, and are not allowed to eat with first-team players. This has sparked questions about the treatment of these players, regardless of their salary levels.

For Sterling, the lucrative offers from Saudi Arabia and Major League Soccer (MLS) this summer held no appeal. He still firmly believes he can return to the England national team and hopes to play at a level that gives him the best chance of achieving this.

However, it is understood that Sterling made it clear to Chelsea at the start of this summer’s transfer window that he would no longer be rushed into a last-minute transfer – a situation he faced last summer when he was urgently loaned to Arsenal at the final moment before the transfer window closed. Despite having several months to resolve Sterling’s situation, Chelsea failed to find a solution.

Additionally, another Chelsea defender, Axel Disasi, has taken a firm stance and rejected loan offers from West Ham United and other clubs. Meanwhile, Celtic is also reported to have ended their pursuit of Fofana without success. This has resulted in the three of them being forced to stay at Chelsea after the conclusion of the summer transfer window.
