Chelsea is fully expecting the deal for Alejandro Garnacho to be finalized before the closure of this summer’s transfer window. As such, the club is completely confident that Manchester United will receive Chelsea’s offer for Garnacho this week, or by Monday’s deadline at the latest.
In the past 24-48 hours, Chelsea has sent a message to Garnacho’s close associates, stating: “Please ask the player to remain patient – this deal will definitely happen.” Consequently, we could see news of Garnacho joining Chelsea as early as this week.
Several weeks ago, when Chelsea was negotiating with Manchester United over Garnacho, a proposal was made to United to include Chelsea’s promising winger George as part of the discussions. However, this option was later halted by Manchester United, meaning George is no longer a topic of conversation in the context of Garnacho’s potential move to Chelsea. That said, this development has not disrupted the steady progress of the Garnacho deal itself.
Additionally, two of Chelsea’s strikers – Christopher Nkunku and Nicolas Jackson – are 100% set to leave the club. For Nkunku, Bayern Munich has spent an entire week attempting to strike an agreement, but so far the German side has only put forward a loan offer. As for Jackson, multiple Premier League clubs are closely monitoring his situation.
If all goes smoothly, it is still anticipated that RB Leipzig star Xavi Simons will eventually join Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. Regular communication is being maintained between the two clubs, and personal terms with Xavi have already been agreed upon.
